INTRODUCTION:
Welcome to the final day
of the FIREBALL RUN
game. Thank you for
allowing us the honor of
organizing this game for
you. this is the
shortest and final
section of your
adventure, so fair
warning this one is
going to be CRAZY.
DESTINATION:
Today you will make the
final journey to Beverly
Hills by the way of Lake
Mead Parkway. Your
arrival window is
between 3:00 and 5:00 pm
local time. We added a
two hour allowance for a
passage control, to
accomplish your mission
and for brief fuel and
rest stops along the
way. Arriving to Beverly
prior to 3:00pm will
result in a point loss
penalty, arriving
outside of the two hour
window will result in a
zero score for this leg
of the event. The goal
is to be the first to
accomplish your mission,
navigate your route
(ditch your tail) and
roll into driver
check-in at the SofiTel
Hotel, LA finish line
within the allowable
time.
MISSION: Boy
is it getting hot in
here? Mother earth
doesn't get much hotter
than the Mojave Desert;
so hot you could bake an
egg. You mission is to
bring us proof of just
how hot mother earth
really is. To do that
you are gonna need a
really big thermometer.
Present proof of your
findings to team
bioTraits at the SofiTel
Hotel finish line in
Beverly Hills, but not
before visiting Passage
Control.
PASSAGE CONTROL 1:
A passage control stop
has been added to your
adventure. After
accomplishing your
mission, proceed
directly to the Route 66
museum somewhere in
Barstow, California,
purchase a gift from the
souvenir shop, which
will be donated to a
children's hospital in
Los Angeles at the
conclusion of the event.
Missing passage control
will result in a
30-point penalty.
PASSAGE CONTROL 2:
Another passage control
stop has been added to
your adventure.
Barstow's significance
doesn't end with the
Route 66 museum... One
of America's greatest
comfort food franchise
success stories began in
Barstow in 1964,
originally names "Casa
Del Taco." Aye carumba!
The chain now has 490
location and is second
only to Taco Bell in
Mexican-American food
flair. To complete this
passage control and have
lunch, you'll need to
drive-thru the very
first "Dell Taco" in
America. check your
to-go bag because it
will contain
