Full Throttle Kustomz
reported for duty in
Texas at the Fun Ford
Weekend World Finals.
The weather was in the
blistering high 90’s and
despite the forecast for
rain, it actually held
off until after the
event was over. With
that being said, many
complained about how the
heat affected their
times and track
conditions. All in all,
FTK did pretty well
considering the
obstacles at hand. The
FTK Shelby placed 10th
in the “True Street”
class on Saturday and
won the fastest 12
second car bracket,
which, in a way, is
disappointing on our end
because the lack of
traction and extreme
heat made our 10 second
car a 12 second Sunday
driver! On Sunday the
FTK Saleen launched a
little too hard out of
the hole and broke out
by 3/10ths for a loss in
the semi finals.
Congratulations to Ray
Jr., a.k.a. Slik, making
his first ever
appearance into bracket
racing, for finishing
third out of 60+ cars. I
would like to thank all
of the Fun Ford crew for
an awesome weekend. Keep
up the good work!
