Cleveland Grand Prix 2007
Let me start by saying, if you didn’t make it, you really
missed out. This year's Cleveland Grand Prix was awesome. All of us at FTK
really enjoyed the weekend of racing. The crowd was enormous, the racing was
fast and the weather was perfect. FTK had a huge display area with a whole
arsenal of cool cars and our model, Krysta, signing posters the whole weekend.
Displayed to our right were the guys at Cooper Tire, who we would like
to thank for all of the shoutouts! Saturday they held an autograph session with
the drivers of the Champ Car Series for all the fans, and also sold used racing
slicks with signatures for charity, only ten dollars a tire. BP Fuels was set
up to our left with their Cobalts on the dyno showing the difference between
their regular and Ultimate fuel. Joe Sylvester was also there displaying his
monster truck, Bad Habit. On the other side of the lot we had a smaller display
with our trailer, in between the women’s professional volleyball and the
freestyle motocross pit. The motocross guys really put on a good show, so many
tricks and stunts. They also had BMX ramps set up with some different shows
throughout the weekend. Now here is the cool part, during the evening Friday
and Saturday we were able to take our car out onto the track and do some drag
racing thanks to Street Warriorz. Both nights were extremely intense, racing
'heads up" with all the
locals in their street
machines. We were able
to race the Shelby GT500
and win 17/20, 6/6 with
Black H2 and 6/7 with
the 07 Dodge. Overall it
was a fun time, a good
way to let off a little
steam! Check out the
official site.
